Kick Ptarmigan is a collaboration between Singer/Songwriter/Guitarster MArtin Jenkins and Bassist/Sideburns aficionado Duncan Bell. They’ve gawked through a NOMFAnation for best album by a group or duo, and a tense set where they got to open for Hawksley Workman, and a bunch of other gigs that went pretty well. Kick Ptarmigan performs thoughtful indie-folk that Hawksley Workman once compared to the Violent Femmes, and totally made Duncan blush. Kick Ptarmigan released Trihornasaurus, their second album, in September 2011.
